Job summary

Opendoor in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Transaction Coordinator to own the closing lifecycle for buyer and seller transactions. You will manage documents, verify steps, and coordinate title, escrow, and mortgage workflows to keep files moving toward close.

You’ll work cross-functionally with clients, agents, title officers, lenders, HOAs, and internal teams, ensuring accuracy, timely communication, and compliance throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee buyer and seller transactions from executed purchase agreement through closing.
• Coordinate title, escrow, mortgage loan, appraisal, inspection, repair, and closing workflows.
• Initiate earnest money and option fee wire transfers accurately.
• Review insurance claims and related documentation.
• Verify the presence of solar panels and related agreements.
• Obtain, review, and upload HOA demand documents.
• Research HOA litigation and violations and escalate when needed.
• Initiate and track work orders tied to transaction needs.
• Coordinate guard gate access requirements.
• Validate final documents and confirm files are complete before closing.
• Regularly communicate with clients, agents, title officers, lenders, escrow officers, HOAs, and partners to resolve open items.
• Use Zendesk and internal systems to manage transaction activity.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve issues while maintaining file compliance.
