Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Waltham, MA to ensure the physical aspects of buildings meet cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards. You will diagnose and repair defects, perform preventative maintenance, and support readiness for new move-ins.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.
• Incumbents must have all certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Performs make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks inventory and requisitions supplies, returns unused items, notifies supervisor about reorders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
