Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs across on-site properties in Mansfield, MA.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, managing make-ready tasks for vacant units, maintaining inventory, documenting work, and supporting cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications (Type 1 and II or Universal) required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and safety codes.
• Executes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests accurately.
• Maintains grounds and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and assisting with general upkeep.
• Supports cost-saving by fixing rather than replacing parts and using resources efficiently.
• Complies with safety policies, attends routine safety meetings, and reports accidents promptly.
• Inspects contractor work as needed to verify quality and scope.
• Assists in periodic property inspections and communicates needs to management.

Education

EPA Type 1 and II or Universal Refrigerant Certification

State and Local Certification requirements
