Job summary

Greystar Real Estate Partners, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Boston area to ensure property interiors and exteriors meet company standards. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units while coordinating with vendors.

The role involves performing assignments with safety in mind, documenting work orders, and supporting cost-control efforts.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 & II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required for property access and golf-cart operation.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and make-ready processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing per policy and code.
• Makes ready vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Tracks inventory and reorders supplies; uses tools safely and tracks consumables.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints curbs, and performs related maintenance tasks.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacements and using tools efficiently.
