Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and assist in make-ready tasks for vacant units.

This role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, where applicable.
• State/local jurisdiction certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance per safety and code standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Tracks inventory, obtains supplies, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor for reorders.
• Documents work performed accurately to ensure traceability of service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
