Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Long Beach, CA to ensure the property's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. This role requires performing work orders, preventative maintenance, and make-readies for vacant units in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inventory control, documentation, and proper upkeep of outdoor spaces. A valid driver's license and EPA refrigerant certification are required.

Qualifications

• Experience completing work orders and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to prepare vacant units and coordinate make-readies.
• Knowledge of safety standards and code requirements.
• EPA refrigerant certification required per role.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance per policies and safety standards.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Track inventory, return unused items, and notify re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; clean, paint as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
