Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring building components meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role includes diagnosing issues, completing maintenance requests, and assisting with make-ready processes for vacant apartments while maintaining documentation and safety practices.

Responsibilities also cover property grounds upkeep, adherence to OSHA guidelines, and collaboration with the maintenance team to optimize parts

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant recovery certs (Type 1/II/Universal) required or as applicable.
• State and local certification requirements must be met.
• Valid driver's license required for on-property duties.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects on property systems per policies and safety standards.
• Complete pre-move-out inspections and make-ready tasks for vacant units.
• Document service requests and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in grounds and common area upkeep; light cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible.
