Job summary

Home Leasing LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Superintendent with daily upkeep of the building and grounds. You will perform maintenance and repairs across apartments, common areas and parking lots, and support turnover cleaning, painting and snow removal.

The role requires basic maintenance knowledge with a focus on safety and reliability, and involves implementing a preventative maintenance schedule, reporting on property conditions, and responding to resident

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Previous property maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
Good communication and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on apartments, common areas and parking lots.
Implement the Preventative Maintenance Schedule.
Prepare inspection-based reports on property conditions and maintenance operations.
Provide on-call coverage for emergency calls.
Assist turnover cleaning, painting and snow removal.
Inspect parking lots for oil spills and unauthorized vehicles.
Report building damage, vandalism or incidents in writing to the Community Leader.
Maintain site lighting and respond to lockouts or disturbances.
Maintain records as required and handle resident service requests.
