Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of properties meet safety, cleanliness, and functionality standards. You will diagnose and repair issues, manage make-readies for new move-ins, and maintain documentation for work orders.

The role requires foundational maintenance experience, EPA certifications may be required, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and participate in

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
• 2 years minimum experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• May be required to hold HVAC certifications and licenses.
• Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Execute make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track materials, inventory, and re-order supplies as needed.
• Document work orders accurately and timely for record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform cleaning and light maintenance.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
