Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington seeks a Program Supervisor to oversee direct care staff and volunteers, coordinating residential program operations to meet best practice standards and contract requirements.

You will supervise 10 FTEs and up to 4 PTE, lead staff development, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with program policies while liaising with community partners.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2 years of direct service experience with the adult homeless or other vulnerable population.
• 3 years of administrative supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of Program Assistants, Administrative staff and Maintenance Workers, and volunteers as needed.
• Conducts recruitment, hires, performance evaluations and staff development.
• Develops processes to control and minimize overtime.
• Leads regular staff meetings and facilitates teamwork.
• Coordinates facility activities to achieve objectives in a timely, cost-efficient manner.
• Establishes plans with department managers and monitors facility performance against metrics.
• Oversees maintenance of facilities and equipment per health and safety codes.
• Ensures program practices comply with contract/grant requirements and CQI processes.
• Performs liaison activities with community partners and prepares timely reports.
