Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking a Program Supervisor to oversee direct care staff and volunteers and to coordinate residential coverage in line with best practice standards and grant requirements.

The role includes administrative supervision of 10 FTEs and up to 4 PTE, with a schedule Tue-Sat in a residential setting. Strong leadership and compliance focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 2 years of direct service experience with adults experiencing homelessness or other vulnerable populations.
• 3 years of administrative supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of Program Assistants, Administrative staff and Maintenance Workers, as needed, plus agency volunteers.
• Recruits, hires, conducts performance evaluations, and provides staff development.
• Develops processes to control overtime and conducts regular staff meetings.
• Facilitates team dynamics and coordinates facility activities to meet objectives.
• Develops plans with department managers and monitors facility performance against measures.
• Oversees maintenance of facilities and equipment per codes and COA standards.
• Ensures compliance with best practices, contract/grant requirements and agency procedures.
