Job summary

Horizon Services, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead direct service staff in a residential program, ensuring high-quality client care and strict adherence to policies and regulatory standards.

The role includes hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews, with responsibility for safety, QA, and program compliance within a competitive notice environment. The position emphasizes leadership, coordination with the Director and Deputy Director, and effective communication with clients

Qualifications

• BA/BS or combination of related education and experience required.
• 3+ years in a residential treatment facility, community mental health facility, or drug/alcohol treatment facility.
• 2+ years supervising, managing, and evaluating staff in a residential setting.
• 2+ years training staff on skills including de-escalation, group milieu management, and related areas.
• 2+ years engaging clients in group activities and providing positive programming.
• 2+ years providing crisis intervention services in mental health or addiction treatment.
• 3+ years working with diverse populations including people with disabilities.
• 1+ years managing budgetary needs and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop a Direct Service team.
• Ensure high level of client care and safety.
• Oversee compliance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure coverage and minimize overtime.
• Provide new hire orientation and ongoing performance feedback.
• Interpret and enforce employee handbook policies.
