Job summary

Resources for Human Development is seeking a Residential Manager to oversee daily operations of assigned residential sites, supervise DSP Leads and DSPs, and ensure a safe, healthy environment in line with policies and regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, crisis management, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to support staffing and emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illness.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and leadership to DSP Leads and DSP staff.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, evaluation, and disciplinary actions for residential staff.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with staffing ratios.
• Conduct team meetings and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to organizational values.
• Oversee the daily operation of assigned residential sites.
• Maintain a safe, home-like environment that supports independence and well-being.
• Ensure licensing, safety, and regulatory standards are met.
