Job summary

Horizon House is a nationally recognized provider of services to adults with support needs due to developmental disabilities, behavioral health issues, and substance misuse. We are expanding ourResidential Service Group Home team at Milton, Delaware, and seek an experienced Residence Manager to supervise day-to-day operations and ensure program compliance.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field, five years of mental health service delivery experience with supervision, and a valid

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, vocational/psychiatric rehabilitation, human services in related field.
• Five (5) years’ experience in mental health service delivery with at least two (2) years supervisory experience in residential services.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individual rehabilitation, growth and development of program participants.
• Oversee the implementation of the assigned group home services and supports.
• Ensure and oversee compliance with all applicable contract regulations and agency policies and procedures.
• Ensures the timely completion/submission of recovery plans and recovery plan reviews and assessments.
• Coordinate and review required program documentation, logs, and reports; ensure documentation is complete, accurate and processed on a timely basis; submit special reports, as assigned within the specified time period.
• Oversee petty cash accounts for site expenses; monitor overall program monies in compliance with budgetary parameters; participate in the development of annual site budget.
• Supervises and ensures training of Clinicians, Associate Clinicians and Certified Nursing Assistants and provides management support to the Residential Registered Nurses.
