Burke is seeking a dependable Home Manager to oversee daily operations at Cunningham Group Home in Lufkin, TX. The role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence while ensuring safe, person-centered care.

The Home Manager leads residential staff, coordinates services, and oversees documentation, staff scheduling, and regulatory compliance. The position requires strong leadership and communication and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months of direct care experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance with agency standards.
• Support individuals in building independence through care, training and active treatment.
• Develop, implement and monitor Person Directed Plans and treatment strategies.
• Review documentation and treatment progress to ensure quality services.
• Train, coach and support residential staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment, timekeeping and required training.
• Ensure the home and agency vehicles meet Life Safety and Health Standards.
• Prepare reports and maintain confidential records.
• Assist individuals with personal finances and maintain financial records.
• Communicate with individuals served, families, medical providers and the interdisciplinary team.
