Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Lincoln Park, New Jersey, is seeking an experienced Residential Program Manager to lead a team delivering person-centered care for individuals with disabilities.

The role focuses on day-to-day operations, staff supervision, and achieving program goals in a residential setting. The position requires a relevant degree or equivalent education, at least two years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and compliance with background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years’ full-time experience supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Background checks including criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing required.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed.
• Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum.
• Communicate with families and guardians as needed.
• Ensure individuals are supported per ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management.
• Maintain program documentation and billable records accurately and timely.
• Monitor health and medical needs and report concerns promptly.
• Manage relationships with families and guardians of individuals in our care.
• Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, well maintained, and stocked with supplies.
• Other tasks may be assigned; cooperate with license and department staff during inspections.
