Job summary

Walnut Street Center in Medford, MA is seeking a full-time Residential Program Manager to supervise a home for adults with Intellectual Disabilities.

You will handle staffing, case management, and medication administration, and work closely with families and guardians to support individuals in daily living activities.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver’s license, MAP certification, and the ability to pass OIG, CORI, SORI background checks; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a group home.
• Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD.
• Must pass OIG, CORI, SORI and Driving background checks.
• Valid Driver's License required; MAP certification required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing: scheduling, on-call, training, supervision, and relationship management.
• Provide case management: develop and implement ISPs, schedule medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.
• Handle administrative tasks: payroll, manuals updates, petty cash, house accounts, and representative payee accounts.
• Supervise activities of daily living: social skills, routines, and financial management.
• Act as liaison between Agency, individuals, family, friends, and guardians.
• Oversee behavioral interventions and safety procedures.
• Administer and document medications accurately.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report injuries to HR.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
