Job summary

CADES is seeking a Program Manager to oversee up to five Community Living Arrangement homes, ensuring safety, quality of life, and compliance with 6400 regulations. You will supervise DSPs, coordinate ISPs implementation, and collaborate with the Treatment Manager and Overnight Supervisor to maintain staffing, training, and documentation integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and communication, with regular second-shift hours Monday through Friday and periodic weekend on-call.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma; bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience working with individuals living with multiple disabilities, including safety and comms support for physical disabilities.
• Two (2) years demonstrated supervision of staff in recruitment, leadership, coaching, training, performance management, and discipline.
• Previous experience working in and managing a unionized workforce.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania DPW 6400 regulations.
• Fast-paced work ability with strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic management systems; Therap preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff across recruitment, leadership, coaching, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Treatment Manager and Overnight Supervisor on DSP evaluations and scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to union agreements, scheduling procedures, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct regular house meetings; document attendance and topics.
• Monitor staffing schedules and maintain appropriate ratios; coordinate with medical teams.
• Complete Relias training tracking and notify staff of due or lapsed trainings.
• Oversee orientation for new DSPs and coach on direct care skills with regular reviews.
• Manage documentation in Therap, Paycom, Relias, and EHR systems; ensure accuracy.
