Job summary

ADAPT Community Network, NYC-based, seeks a Residence Manager to oversee a residential program for individuals with developmental disabilities. The role includes supervising staff, managing daily operations, and ensuring a safe, person-centered living environment in alignment with OPWDD standards.

You will coordinate treatment plans, oversee medical needs, and support independence and community participation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License in good standing.
• AMAP certification or eligibility for certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate treatment plans.
• Ensures health, safety, and dignity of the people we support are maintained.
• Oversees medical care needs, including medication administration and coordination with clinical staff.
• Manages staff scheduling, supervision, training, and coverage across shifts.
• Supports budgeting, payroll, and supply inventory for the program.
• Maintains accurate documentation and prepares for audits and quality reviews.
• Acts as liaison with families and external partners to maintain open communication.
