Job summary

Community Health Resources (CHR) seeks a Residential Manager for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time role oversees operations, staff supervision, and clinical collaboration to ensure safe, trauma-informed care for residents with mental health and substance use challenges.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent supervisory experience), valid driver’s license, and certifications in CPR/First Aid and NCI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, five plus years of supervisory experience or previous experience working with individuals with substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders would be considered in lieu of education.
• At least two years’ exposure working with the population served.
• Valid current driver’s license. First Aid, CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) Certification are required to be successfully completed and are required to be maintained throughout employment.
• CPR & First Aid Certification required OR must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and operate the residential program(s) to ensure safe and therapeutic environment.
• Provide supervision to residential staff and ensure program policy adherence.
• Assist with medication monitoring procedures and staff training.
• Transport clients within the program as needed and participate in treatment planning meetings.
• Maintain documentation of interventions, incidents, and observations in a professional manner.
