Job summary

Bridgewell in Massachusetts seeks an Assistant Residential Manager 2 to help oversee daily operation of a residential home for individuals with disabilities. You will provide direct care support and coordinate program duties as needed.

This role may involve moderate physical assistance and training, with responsibilities including staff leadership, documentation, budgeting, transportation, and liaison with families and providers. Schedule: Sun 9:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Thu 1:00pm-9:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DSP Certification preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with people with disabilities and behavioral/medical concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff to uphold performance standards per agency requirements.
• Create a positive work climate and coordinate on-call communication.
• Ensure services and documentation meet regulatory standards (DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF).
• Develop opportunities for residents to make decisions and foster independence.
• Oversee medical, clinical, and financial needs and secure appropriate services.
• Transport residents to medical, recreational, and other activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with funding sources, community groups, families, and providers.
• Monitor petty cash and stay within budget.
• Provide interim coverage as directed by Residential Supervisor.
• Maintain CPR/FA, OSHA, CPI, MAP, PABC, and Driver Safety certifications.
• Other duties as assigned.
