Job summary

Bridgewell in Beverly, MA, seeks a Residential Manager to oversee a residential home for people served, ensuring quality of care, staff hiring, training, and supervision, and budget monitoring.

You will coordinate clinical and medical needs with nursing staff, support families and guardians, manage on-call rotations, and ensure HIPAA compliance and safe operations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years direct care experience with supervisory exposure.
• Experience in coordinating staffing and budgets in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure program and accreditation standards for quality of care.
• Staff scheduling, hiring, and coordination of per-diem/agency relief staff.
• Conduct monthly supervisions and team meetings; provide coaching and recognition.
• Deliver timely performance evaluations and address concerns with management and HR.
• Maintain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, PPS, PABC) and training.
• Oversee administrative duties across finance, HR, payroll, quality, and EHR systems.
• Provide on-call coverage as per rotating schedule and manage shifts.
• Collaborate with clinical/nursing teams to meet behavioral and medical needs.
• Engage with guardians/families and maintain positive relationships.
• Manage program budget, overtime, supplies, and monthly reviews.
• Assist people served with financial assistance applications as needed.
• Cover direct care in staff shortages and support program meetings/outings.
• Oversee data entry and documentation; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain vehicle registrations and coordinate with Transportation.
