Job summary

Great Dane Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Plumbing Manager to lead the plumbing service and installation teams, oversee scheduling and safety, and uphold quality across all jobs.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in service or installation, a Journeyman or Master plumbing license, strong leadership, customer service excellence, budgeting acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of service and/or installation experience.
• Journeyman or Master plumbing license preferred.
• Proven experience in service management or a similar role.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical/drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license with a solid driving record; chauffeur’s license if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of plumbing technicians and support staff.
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure technical proficiency and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Manage scheduling and dispatching of technicians for service calls and installations.
• Ensure all work is completed to company standards and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of service issues.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
