Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist in California to sell pest management services to new and existing residential customers. You will assess customer needs, present solutions, and collaborate with service teams to deliver results.

Must have a high school diploma, sales or pest experience, and a valid driver's license; travel up to 100% within territory. Base pay and earning potential are highlighted with bonuses and commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pest Industry certifications a plus.
• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• 1-2 years in pest control sales and 2+ years in customer service.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers' needs by performing a needs analysis using expert knowledge of the company's products and services.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and entries.
• Sell pest control solutions for residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and Technicians for opportunities.
• Develop proposals with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and enhancements.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM to ensure customer understanding.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations.
• Record daily activities and sales performance in the CRM.
