Job summary

Terminix International is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist to assess customer needs, present pest control solutions, and close sales for homes and small businesses. You will collaborate with Customer Service, Inside Sales, and technicians to deliver tailored treatments and drive revenue.

The role requires strong communication, a valid driver’s license, and 100% travel within the assigned territory, with earning potential through base pay and incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pest Industry certifications a plus.
• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• 1-2 years pest control sales experience; 2+ years in a customer service role.
• Valid driver’s license; 100% travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers' needs by performing a needs analysis using expert knowledge of our products and services.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and entry points.
• Sell pest control solutions for residential customers based on assessments.
• Collaborate with the service center, Inside Sales, and technicians for increased opportunities.
• Develop proposals with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and close gaps.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM for clarity on home and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfaction.
• Record daily activities and sales performance in the Sales CRM.
