Job summary

Western Exterminator, part of the Rentokil family, is hiring a Residential Sales Specialist in California. You will sell pest control solutions to residential customers, assess needs, inspect premises, and collaborate with our service teams to maximize opportunities.

The role requires a high school diploma, a preferred technical degree, pest industry certifications a plus, and 1+ year in sales or pest tech. Travel upto 100% within assigned territory is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• Prefer 1-2 years of experience in pest control sales and 2+ years in a customer service role.
• Must be an effective verbal communicator with strong customer-facing conversations and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Assess customers’ needs by performing a needs analysis based on concerns using product knowledge.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and entry points.
• Sell pest control solutions for residential customers.
• Collaborate with the service center, Inside Sales, and technicians for opportunities.
• Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and suggest enhancements.
• Complete Home diagram in Sales CRM and ensure clear understanding of home.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Record daily activities and sales performance in the CRM.
