Job summary

Western Exterminator Company in California is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist to sell pest management services to new and existing homeowners. You will perform needs analyses, visually inspect properties, and propose solutions while coordinating with the service center, inside sales, and technicians.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years in pest control sales, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or Technical degree preferred.
• Pest Industry certifications a plus.
• 1+ years of sales or pest technician experience.
• Effective verbal communicator with customer-facing skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Travel up to 100% within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Sell pest control solutions to residential customers based on needs analysis.
• Visually inspect homes and businesses for pests and entry points.
• Develop proposals to resolve issues and upsell services.
• Collaborate with the Service Center, Inside Sales and technicians.
• Complete Home diagrams using the Sales CRM for clarity.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
