Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Consultant in North Carolina to sell Residential Pest Management Services and protect customers' homes. You’ll inspect homes, assess needs, and present pest solutions to new and existing clients.

You will collaborate with service teams and branch staff to grow revenue while delivering outstanding customer service. This full-time role offers benefits starting on day 1 and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance for residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for opportunities.
• Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and engage service specialists.
• Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and suggest enhancements to services.
• Complete home diagram in Sales CRM and ensure clear understanding of the residence.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure completion.
• Manage daily activities and sales performance using the Sales CRM.
