Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Residential Sales Specialist in Baton Rouge, LA to sell pest management services to new and existing residential customers. You will assess customer needs, draft proposals, and coordinate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong sales and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel up to 100% within the territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Prefer at least 1–2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Sell pest control solutions to residential customers.
• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, and entries.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians.
• Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and suggest enhancements to services.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM for clarity of customer home and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure quality work.
