ColumbiaCare Services seeks a Residential Peer Support Specialist for the Bell Cove RTH program in Brookings, Oregon. You will greet new residents at admission, provide compassionate support, and help residents articulate self-determined goals while navigating recovery within a residential treatment setting.

The role includes facilitating peer groups and one-to-one conversations, with crisis de-escalation training included.

Qualifications

• Must have personal experience with mental health challenges.
• Certified and registered as a Peer Support Specialist through the Oregon Health Authority.

Responsibilities

• Meet each new resident at admission and provide welcoming, compassionate support.
• Facilitate and coordinate peer groups where residents discuss recovery and goals.
• Engage in one-to-one conversations to build trust and connect with community supports.
