Qualifications

• Must have personal experience with mental health challenges.
• Certified and Registered as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Responsibilities

• Welcome new residents and answer questions to help them feel at home.
• Engage residents one-on-one and coordinate peer groups.
• Provide personal care services including shopping, self-help, socialization, and meal prep.
• Use strategic self-disclosure to build connection and normalize mental health challenges.
