ColumbiaCare Services in Ashland, OR is seeking a Part Time Supportive Housing Peer Support Specialist for Rogue Ridge Apartments. The role focuses on peer-to-peer support, welcoming new residents, and guiding them toward self-determined goals while coordinating groups and activities.

You must have lived experience with mental health challenges and hold PSS/PWS certification through OHA. Driving is required for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Have personal experience with mental health challenges (peer-based insight).
• Certified and registered as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Responsibilities

• Meet with residents one-on-one to welcome, answer questions and provide supportive guidance.
• Coordinate and facilitate peer groups for residents and support program activities.
• Provide personal care services (shopping, self-help, socialization, meal preparation) as needed.
• Use strategic self-disclosure to build connection and normalize mental health challenges.
