ColumbiaCare Services in Oregon seeks a Residential Peer Support Specialist to welcome new residents and support their recovery journey at Bell Cove, Coos Crisis, and Cedar Bay programs in Brookings, Coos Bay, and North Bend.

You will conduct one-to-one conversations, facilitate peer groups, and participate in crisis de-escalation trainings. A driver’s license and Oregon PSS/PWS certification are required; the role is full-time, day hours, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Personal experience with mental health challenges.
• Certified and registered as a PSS or PWS through the Oregon Health Authority.

Responsabilités

• Meet residents at admission and support them in setting self-directed goals.
• Engage in one-to-one conversations to build trust and connect with community peer supports.
• Coordinate and facilitate peer groups to discuss recovery stories and challenges.
• Participate in crisis de-escalation training and related safety procedures.
• Drive is an essential function of this position and requires a valid driver’s license.
