Russell Tobin’s client is seeking an experienced Loan Processing Associate to support residential mortgage loan processing from document review through closing. Hybrid schedule with a 12-month, temp-to-perm contract. Requires 5+ years of processing experience and strong attention to detail.

The role involves managing title and insurance documents, communicating with internal and external partners, and ensuring timely loan closings while maintaining quality. Interviews: 2 rounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential mortgage loan processing experience required.
• Proven ability to maintain high-quality loan production while managing a large client base.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based loan processing systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated ability to meet individual and organizational production goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the loan order services process, including requesting, reviewing, and verifying title and insurance documents.
• Clear loan processing conditions within the loan operating system, including insurance, collateral, disclosure, and title requirements.
• Review title and insurance documents to ensure they meet company guidelines.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners regarding documentation, timelines, and loan conditions.
• Monitor personal loan pipelines and work with Mortgage Specialists and internal teams to meet expected loan cycle times.
• Track loans through closing and ensure required documents remain current and do not expire.
• Independently identify issues, proactively resolve problems, and maintain high-quality work in a production environment.
