Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Repurchase Analyst to manage the repurchase and claim activity for residential mortgage purchases and sales, identify findings, draft letters and file claims as breaches of the Purchase Agreement. The role requires experience in bulk and flow mortgage transactions and strong relationship management.

Qualifications include 2-5 years in the mortgage industry, advanced Excel skills, and a Bachelor's Degree, with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of mortgage industry experience in due diligence, underwriting or mortgage originations.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in varied systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the repurchase and claim process for residential mortgage purchases and securitisation.
• Coordinate internal and external requirements with Sellers and Purchasers.
• Oversee pipeline of claims and quality control findings; respond to securitisation inquiries.
• Apply fraud detection techniques and work to resolution of issues.
• Understand underwriting guides, overlays, and waivers; collaborate with QC, Due Diligence, Collateral, Contract Finance and Trading Desk.
