Middletown Valley Bank seeks an experienced Senior Loan Processor to manage complex mortgage files, mentor staff, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role supports underwriting, closing, and process improvements within a hybrid work model based in Middletown, MD.

The position requires 10+ years in mortgage processing, proficiency with Encompass and MS Office, and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders. Hybrid/remote options available after in-office training.

Formación

• 10+ years of progressive mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, jumbo loans.
• Mentor and train processors; serve as SME.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with mortgage technology platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Manages a pipeline of high-complexity loans, including jumbo, construction, and specialty programs.
• Liaison between processing, underwriting, and closing teams for escalated files.
• Conducts advanced compliance reviews and resolves issues prior to underwriting submission.
• Identifies processing risks and partners with leadership for improvements.
• Coaches and mentors processors to ensure policy adherence.
• Monitors pipeline performance and addresses delays and quality concerns.
• Participates in strategic projects to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Implements process enhancements based on regulatory changes.
• Acts as SME for regulatory requirements and investor guidelines.
• Adheres to internal policies and CRA/BSA/etc.
• Supports community activities.
• Other duties as needed.
