Qualifications

• Two years of mortgage loan experience, and one year of real estate/sales experience are required.
• Working knowledge of mortgage lending and laws/regulations procedures is necessary.
• Familiarity with FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA regulations and guidelines as well as other loan programs.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and related computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Solicits new mortgage loan prospects through contacts and referrals.
• Interviews prospective borrowers to analyze financial data and determine financing objectives.
• Advises customers on product/pricing policies and gathers required information.
• Develops and maintains a network of referrals for lending opportunities.
• Ensures excellent customer service with knowledge of lending programs and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrates commitment to professional ethics.
• Participates in job-specific training and bank training programs as required.
• Complies with Federal and State laws and bank policies.
• Actsively participates in sales and service culture and follows bank policies.
