Job summary

Responsibilities include promoting Citi’s lending services to real estate partners, guiding clients through documentation, and ensuring smooth processing from application to close while maintaining compliance and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in residential mortgage.
• 1+ year sales, credit or finance experience required.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• The ability to comprehend and explain financial calculations and pricing alternatives.
• The ability to communicate with customers about the proper documents and information needed to obtain a particular loan.
• Must register as a mortgage loan originator with the NMLS Registry before engaging in mortgage loan originator activities.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about their financial situation and lending needs to help them achieve home ownership goals.
• Collect and analyze information about the customer's finances and credit history.
• Analyze financial information to assess loan qualification and suitability of lending solutions.
• Recommend lending solutions that meet customers' objectives and explain risks/benefits.
• Promote Citi's lending products to clients and referral sources.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth loan processing and timely closing.
