Job summary

Citi Bank Retail Mortgage is hiring a Mortgage Lending Officer in Aliso Viejo, CA. You will originate high-quality residential real estate loans and work with branch partners, referral sources, and clients to grow mortgage business.

Responsibilities include consulting on financial needs, analyzing credit and income information, and guiding customers through loan options, documentation, and closing processes. A strong emphasis on regulatory knowledge and customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years relevant experience.
• Residential Mortgage experience preferred and established book of business.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situations and lending needs.
• Collect and analyze customer financial information including income, assets and debts.
• Assess qualification for lending solutions and make recommendations.
• Promote Citi’s lending services to real estate agents and clients.
• Coordinate with Operations, Processors and Underwriters to ensure timely closings.
