Job summary

EP!C in Peoria, IL seeks a dedicated CLS Operations Manager to oversee Community Living Services for individuals with IDD. This leadership role supervises Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals, ensuring high-quality residential services and positive environments for staff and individuals served.

You will maintain regulatory compliance, coordinate scheduling and payroll, and keep thorough program records, reports, and documentation, while promoting person-centered care and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple locations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and supervise Team Leads and Direct Support Professionals while building a positive, accountable, and engaged team culture.
  • Oversee multiple community-integrated homes.
  • Ensure individuals receive safe, high-quality, person-centered supports.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations, licensing standards, HIPAA, and agency policies.
  • Promote positive relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, and community.
  • Ensure all abuse and neglect allegations are properly reported as a mandated reporter.
  • Manage scheduling and staffing & Track attendance, PTO, and payroll functions.
  • Maintain program records and compliance documentation.

Job description

EP!C is comprised of families, staff, volunteers, and community members working together to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families with unique educational, residential, employment, and clinical programs tailored to each individual’s abilities and needs. We began as a small, community-organized network of Peoria families in 1950 who took an innovative approach to disability by emphasizing ability over disability. We have since grown to serve individuals of all levels of ability residing across 15 counties in Illinois from finding funding to the best program and service.

About the Role

Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining standards for accuracy, productivity and reliability, managing the daily functions of the business, preparing annual performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal rules.

  • Experience supporting individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
  • Experience in Community Living Services or residential programming
  • Knowledge of Illinois DHS/CILA regulations
  • Experience with scheduling, payroll, and compliance documentation
*Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
