Job summary

ZRS Management in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver exceptional service to residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide skilled, efficient and professional service across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

You will perform turnover work within 3–5 days, maintain common areas, and help sustain a safe, preventive maintenance program while logging tools and maintaining inventory. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.
• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning, appliances and related areas.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and follow turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and window cleaning.
• Monitor building exterior for roof, siding, and shutter issues.
• Support preventive maintenance program for area of responsibility.
• Ensure safe condition of all equipment and structures in area of expertise.
• Log newly purchased tools/equipment into inventory.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly and observe safety rules.
