Job summary

ZRS Management in Austin, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide skilled, professional service to residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and report to the Property Manager, handling maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, with a focus on timely turnover and safety.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of the employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and other systems as needed.
• Complete turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days, including installation of blinds, changing filters, bulb/replacement tasks and caulking.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, pressure washing and window cleaning.
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters, and related issues; support preventive maintenance program.
• Ensure safety and keep work area clean and orderly; document new tools/equipment in inventory.
