Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle repairs, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance across multiple properties, including the Reliance Crossing community in Souderton, PA.

Responsibilities include completing work orders in a timely manner, making moves-ready apartments, and responding to on-call emergencies. The role requires two years of maintenance experience and readiness to travel between portfolio properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language.
• Proficiency in performing plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements in accordance with the janitorial schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays—resolving issues.
• Patrols property daily to identify areas in need of cleaning and completes required work—remove trash/debris from property grounds and common areas, keep the dumpster area clean, and vacuum, sweep and mop common areas, removes litter and debris from lawns, planting beds, parking areas, sidewalks, ramps, and indoor spaces.
