Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and conduct preventative maintenance across assigned properties. You will complete work orders promptly, restore vacated apartments, and assist with janitorial tasks to keep common areas clean.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and willingness to be on-call for weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Flex schedule and on-call for weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Must read, speak and comprehend English.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps, and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements per schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Patrols property daily, identifies cleaning needs, and maintains grounds and common areas.
