Job summary

MRK Property Management LLC in Camden, NJ seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, troubleshoot issues and complete preventative maintenance across a 64-unit residential property. You will restore vacated apartments, handle cleaning tasks, and respond to on-call emergencies on weekends and evenings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of maintenance experience, own hand tools, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• On-call weekends, evenings, and holidays required.
• OSHA knowledge and EPA/HVAC certifications preferred.
• Must have hand tools and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition for new residents.
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways/parking spaces.
• Completes janitorial requirements in accordance with the janitorial schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays—resolving issues.
• Patrols property daily to identify cleaning needs and maintains grounds and common areas.
