Job summary

MRK Partners seeks a Maintenance Technician to handle repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across assigned properties in Bridgeton, NJ. You will ensure timely completion of work orders and uphold building and grounds quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in maintenance; on-call availability on weekends/evenings/holidays is required. Valid driver’s license and transportation are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
• EPA and HVAC certifications preferred.
• Ability to work a flex schedule and be on-call for weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Must read/speak/understand English.
• Proficient in plumbing, electrical and machinery repair.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move-in condition.
• Removes snow, ice and debris from sidewalks, walkways and parking areas.
• Completes janitorial duties per schedule.
• Responds to on-call emergencies on weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Patrols property daily and maintains grounds and common areas.
