Job summary

Timberland Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 270-unit community in Lincoln, NE. You will manage general upkeep, unit turnover, and preventative maintenance to ensure a high-quality living experience for residents.

You will perform make-readies, repairs, and safety checks, while supporting on-call shifts and upholding industry safety standards. The role requires HVAC/plumbing/electrical proficiency and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA universal HVAC license required.
• CPO license required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer.
• Experience with turnover “make-readies” of apartments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Maintain curb appeal by tending grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards.
• Identify and resolve safety or upkeep issues to protect residents and property.
• Perform make-readies, repairs, and final checks for flawless move-ins.
• Provide on-call emergency support on a rotating schedule with compensation.
• Follow all safety procedures to protect team members and residents.
