Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Lincoln, NE to support property maintenance, routine and emergency repairs, and make-ready tasks under supervision. The role requires routine onsite attendance, basic computer skills, and knowledge of safety and housing regulations.

Responsibilities include pool upkeep, grounds care, incident reporting, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance and onsite attendance.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Perform repairs and replacements for common areas and units.
• Assist with maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Clean exterior areas and maintain chemical logs for pool operations.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for hazards and ensure safety.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and organize shop.
• Record service requests and maintenance activities accurately.
• Assist with inventory management of equipment and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional resident relations.
• Participate in on-call emergencies and follow safety practices.

Education
