Job summary

Timberland Partners Inc. in O'Fallon, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Green Mount Lakes, a 240-unit community. You’ll handle upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance to provide an outstanding living experience for residents.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM with rotating on-call shifts and on-call stipends. HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs are part of daily duties, along with safety compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA universal license for HVAC required.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances including washer and dryer.
• Experience with turnover “make-ready” of apartments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Take pride in curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas above quality standards, ensuring a welcoming environment residents are proud to call home.
• Identify and resolve potential safety or upkeep issues, serving as a trusted set of eyes and ears to protect the property and its residents.
• Execute seamless make-readies, repairs, and final checks so new residents walk into a flawless home on day one.
• Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule, ensuring peace of mind for residents when urgent issues arise.
• Champion a culture of safety by following all industry procedures, protecting yourself, your teammates, and the community.
