Job summary

South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our properties’ buildings, grounds, and amenities in top condition. You will handle routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances, while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for new residents. This role requires a valid license, a flexible schedule, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in general property maintenance.
• HVAC knowledge with EPA/OSHA awareness.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and inspections.
• Complete make-ready inspections and coordinate vendor work for vacant units.
• Respond to resident service requests with a customer-first attitude.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Maintain the maintenance shop and use maintenance software to complete work orders.
